It was cold, and Lily was mostly annoyed though amused despite herself. She figured she'd better get out any kind of smiles and giggles before James showed up. Because she couldn't possibly let him know that he was amusing. He drove her around the bend, but he had some good moments. She just wasn't going to tell him that. This whole place was very odd, and she still didn't know if she got what was going on.

She waited at the train station with her hands in her pockets, wondering what it was going to be like having to put up with him 24 hours a day.

She gave it a wave of her hand, like she was going to ignore the whole thing about who was screwing who, and who was special. Another argument not worth having because it was pretty trivial in the scope of everything else. "Uh.. does our.. son know we're having this.. foursome?" did she just say that?

For some reason, the word made her start to laugh. And once she started laughing, she couldn't stop. She wasn't even sure she could hear an answer if he gave one.

	But she couldn't really answer because she was totally cracking up. In fact, she was laughing so hard she rolled onto her side on the couch, probably half into his lap, but that didn't matter because she couldn't stop laughing to the point where it was hard to breathe. 	James was giggling, himself by that point. But he wasn't anywhere near as hysterical as Lily. "Oh bollocks," he said, hands up in the air because he didn't really think she'd want him touching her or anything, "I think I might have broken Lily Evans." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah totally broke her. She was trying so hard to stop laughing and catch her breath. She inhaled alot and let it out, thinking she was okay for a moment and then started to giggle again. Right. 	She took the deep breath and then let it out, finally her laughter had stopped. "It's not very funny, I get into a foursome and I can't even remember. How lame is that?" she looked over at him and even though her look was scathing, she wasn't really. "I can.. stand you. I am living here instead of just packing up and going aren't I?" James looked at her, letting the cockiness and the playfulness fade a bit. "I'm serious when it counts, love. But I like to make you laugh. I especially like it when I make you laugh but you try to hide it. You do this thing where you glare and half smile at the same time." And just like that, he got a little playful again. "Anyway, I'm a bit of a jackass." He stretched, "Can't really help myself sometimes, you know?"

James watched her rise. On the tip of his tongue was a confession of love, the real sort, not the over dramatic way he did in public. But he held it in. He didn't think going too fast too soon was a good idea. "Go on. I think there might a bottle of girl soap in there." From when the other Lily had been around. "When you're done, go claim the bedroom in your name." He really would take the couch. Possibly slip over to Sirius' some nights.

When she was a few steps away, he said, seriously, "I'm glad you're here, love. I missed you."

	Well thank goodness for small favors. She nodded her head, taking a couple of steps before she stopped and turned to look at him. Then she gave him a small genuine smile, "I missed you too James.." she said quietly and then turned and went into the bathroom. 	James smiled when he heard the door shut behind her. He didn't move, he simply savored the feeling of having the Lily he knew come home. James sat back on the couch and wondered what the hell would happen over the course of the next few days. There'd probably be drama, knowing his mates. But hell, for the moment, things were good.
