Nodding, Hannah accepted his suggestion, letting it make her feel a bit better about everything. If she was right and she was pregnant, she would love the child more than life itself, she knew it. She would be a good mum, even if she'd already started off on the wrong foot considering if she was pregnant, she'd have to be at least two months along by now and she hadn't even noticed.
She wanted Neville to be happy, though. She wanted both of them to be happy and she didn't like when things made him less than that. "I know we will," she added, making sure he knew that she was always going to be there with him, making things work, even if it was difficult. She wasn't going to give up on any of it. Maybe that made her a lot stronger than her father was.
She closed the gap between their lips again, kissing away her worry and doubt and fear, even if just for a few minutes, and hopefully doing the same for him. Everything would be alright, eventually, but right now she just wanted to pretend like nothing else existed but the two of them.
