He wanted to say ages again but did not. It wasn't a time to joke and the fact she knew the precise date made his stomach turn over. He hadn't thought it was likely that Hannah would have forgotten but he had the smallest hope she had somehow gotten her days confused. He shifted, crawling up onto the bed to lay down beside her, his eyes focused on stomach. His mouth seemed to go dry and he slowly reached out, placing a hand against her stomach.
He tilted his head up, looking at her. He certainly could not think of any other explanation. "How did we not realize sooner," he found himself stating though he did not need the answer. He knew how. He sighed, his hand moving so that he was able to wrap his entire arm around her.
