Unfortunately, the reason why Hannah and Neville were starting to assume that everything was going to be bad news was because it most usually turned out to be the case. Hannah was an optimist, eternally looking for the bright side in all situations but even she was beginning to become worn thin with the constant strain the pair were being put through. She hated the thought of selling the house, but they had to make things work somehow and, really, a house was just a house. Her family was far more important to her than a house because, after all, the family was what made that house a home.
At that thought, her brow furrowed and she clasped her hands around the back of Neville's neck, pressing a small kiss to his lips before resting her head against his. Swallowing hard, she fought back the sting of tears behind her eyelids. She should probably just come right out with it, then, shouldn't she? She could sense Neville's worry and she could only imagine exactly what he was thinking he might hear from her. So, with a deep breath, she said, "Sparky, I- I think I might be pregnant." She held his eyes with hers while she spoke.
