Rumblings
It begins with a few skirmishes - testing Gondor's defenses. Haradrim warriors crossing the border in lightning-strike raids.
By sea, small Umbarean craft harass the Amroth blockade, independent of the Haradrim.
In the East, the messenger arrives with the news. The Hounds of Khand ride, and Gondor's allies let them go, and sit back to see what happens.
