You are saddened, but I am not sure by what.
Who: Galadriel, Celeborn, Aragorn, Arwen
What: Celeborn's return, catching up, visiting grandchildren with colds!
When: Yesterdayish?
Galadriel: *stirs a bit*
Celeborn: *quietly puts away some things, then, approaches, and sits on the bed.* *slips the ring he took from the river onto the finger it was accustomed to*
Galadriel: *smiles softly, with her eyes still a bit glazed over, and flexes her hand*
Celeborn: *smiles sadly*
Galadriel: *has little tears forming in her eyes, though that could be from a dream, as well as anything else* *slowly focuses her eyes on him* *reaches a hand out to his face*
Celeborn: *caresses her face, then takes her hand and presses it to his cheek*
Galadriel: You are saddened, but I am not sure by what.
Celeborn: I am sorry, meleth. I made a mistake, and I had to rectify it.
Galadriel: *flexes her hand again, then twirls Nenya around on it, and nods her head* I see. I am surprised the river returned it to you.
Celeborn: *Nods his head* You were meant to take it over the sea, I think, and part with it there, not here.
Galadriel: I should not think that admitting to making a mistake would sadden you so. *caresses at his cheek a bit, smiles at him*
Celeborn: I had hoped it would have helped, not hindered you.
Galadriel: I am not hindered. *sits up, and presses her forehead against his8
Celeborn: *gives her his dry look*
Celeborn: You are growing weary.
Galadriel: Are we having this discussion again?
Celeborn: *chuckles* I should not have had you give up the ring - not yet, at any how.
Galadriel: It is alright. For see? It has been returned to me. *holds her hand up* Thank you.
Celeborn: Though it has no power, it still holds sway.
Galadriel: *brushes her fingers through her hair* What has been done cannot be undone. But I believe it should go west, as well.
Celeborn: *nods his head* That is how it should have been, I realize.
Galadriel: *kisses his forehead* Does this mean I am allowed out of prison, then?
Celeborn: *laughs* *inspects her leg and arm, and then her chest* I should say so, unless I note you are feeling weary. Then, it is back to bedrest for another few days.
Galadriel: *slides off of the bed and onto his lap* *hugs him, before getting up* Then I shall have to avoid feeling weary. *goes to change into something clean*
Celeborn: *smirks a bit*
Galadriel: What has been happening while you have had me asleep?
Celeborn: Where should I start? *chuckles*
Galadriel: At the beginning? *looks rather relieved to be in a nice, clean dress* *picks up a brush and starts preening at her hair with it*
Celeborn: *takes the brush, and starts brushing her hair for her, as one of only a few people are ever allowed to do. And Celebrian is in Aman.*
Galadriel: *tilts her head up and smiles at him, before settling back into place*
Celeborn: *the twins had permission when they were little, 'till they got stuff stuck in her hair >.>**brushes and combs, and otherwise elfgeeks over her hair*
Galadriel: *remembers that, with a bit of fondness* *recalls Arwen also is allowed, and wonders what her granddaughter is up to* You would have woken me, if they had married..
Celeborn: Of course. Arwen wishes me to perform the ceremony.
Galadriel: *smiles* A fine choice.
Celeborn: *chuckles* I was, and am, touched.
Celeborn: *brush brush*
Galadriel: *closes her eyes and revels in the brushing* What of Aragorn? And our new Cousin? Or any of our old ones?
Celeborn: Hmm? News on them? Aragorn has been moved to his own chambers, and Arwen is sick with cold.
Galadriel: *lets out a little sigh* She will learn, soon enough.
Celeborn: *laughs softly*
Celeborn: It seems as though the Valar have spoken in regards to Feanor and Caranthir.
Galadriel: *arches a brow*
Celeborn: *explains!*
Galadriel: *arches BOTH eyebrows*
Celeborn: That is what I thought.
Galadriel: We will need to keep both of our eyes open, in the coming weeks. *ponders* That cannot have been an easy thing to do, for any involved.
Celeborn: Nay, it cannot. I think in particular, Ithiriel took it hte hardest
Galadriel: *nods her head* She is alright, now? *assumes he spoke to her*
Celeborn: As well as she could be. *gives her the jist of the conversation*
Galadriel: *nods her head, listening* I think I will check in on our ill granddaughter.
Celeborn: She should be in Aragorn's room.
Celeborn: *amused*
Galadriel: *gets up, after tucking her hair behind her ears a bit*
Celeborn: *kisses her fingers*
Galadriel: *kisses his, in return, and departs!*
Celeborn: *can tell she's tired*
Galadriel: *heads over to Aragorn's room, knocks!*
Aragorn: *wakes!**blinks**pulls Arwen closer**drifts off again*
Aragorn: *would like everyone to know they are fully clothed*
Arwen: *blinks her eyes, blearily* *pulls away from him to cough a bit*
Aragorn: *wakes again, slower this time
Galadriel: *knocks, again*
Aragorn: *alert now!* Enter.
Arwen: *goes to hunt down more of that honey syrup*
Arwen: *well rather, doesn't have to go hunting very far, but is not in the bed with him anymore*
Galadriel: *lets herself in, and shuts the door behind her, then casually walks into the bedroom* I hear you have gotten to know what taking a chill is like. *eyes Arwen*
Arwen: *is caught, midway through spooning out some syrup* *looks at her grandmother with a completely innocent expression*
Aragorn: *smirks*
Arwen: *coughs, nearly gets syrup all over her sleeve* *makes an extremely annoyed face*
Galadriel: *catches the bottle and steadies it, to pour out the rest, then caps it* You will perhaps remember now, to wear a thick cloak during cold weather.
Aragorn: And not to dance in the rain in a thin gown.
Galadriel: *eyes Arwen, like 'Is that so?'*
Arwen: *takes this moment to suck down the syrup off the spoon* *is very busy with cough syrup*
Aragorn: *approving look*
Arwen: *sinks into a chair when she's done* I admit, I did go out in the rain in a dress. I was not dancing in it, I was merely curious why Ada was out there. *sounds very hoarse, AND like her nose is stuffed up*
Aragorn: *slides out of bed and puts a hand on her shoulder**smiles at Galadriel*
Galadriel: *walks up to Arwen, and presses her hand against her forehead, then tilts her chin up, and gently massages her neck*
Galadriel: *smiles at Aragorn, very glad to see him up and around*
Aragorn: She has been very stubborn.
Galadriel: Is that so? *chuckles* I am afraid it is a family trait.
Arwen: *is liking the massaging too much to complain*
Galadriel: Your children will be supremely stubborn, too, all of them. You will consider yourselves lucky, if you are more stubborn than they, for that is the only way to win arguments. *winks at Aragorn, goes back to massaging Arwen's throat, and forehead*
Arwen: *groans, happily*
Aragorn: So it is very likely, that I am doomed. *nods his head, as if accepting that* How are you feeling, Lady?
Galadriel: *smiles* I am alright. It is good to see you up and about. *takes a seat on the bed*
Aragorn: I am even allowed token work! *glances at Arwen and winks*
Arwen: *manages a smile* Busy work, that Daerada says I must tease him with, by showing it to him and then taking it away. *sniffles, and curls up in a little ball on her chair*
Aragorn: Such a cruel husband, you have.
Galadriel: That sounds like something he would advise, yes. *chuckles* He is as devious as he is wise. *smiles*
Aragorn: *eyeing Galadriel, slightly*
Arwen: *eyeing her, too* I am glad you are here. Am I going to live, do you think?
Galadriel: *chuckles* I think you will live, aye, though it is often said that mortals who take ill believe they are dying. *winks at Arwen*
Aragorn: *thinks Gally looks tired*
Galadriel: *was hoping to look rested*
Aragorn: *not that easily fooled!*
Arwen: *crawls out of her chair, and goes over to her grandmother, sits beside her* *leans against her*
Galadriel: *wraps an arm around her, and hugs her* I am surprised your father is not hovering over you.
Aragorn: *....smiles*
Aragorn: He has had other things to distract him.
Galadriel: Have I missed something else? *sneak-healing Arwen, a bit*
Aragorn: A woman with a difficult pregnancy.
Arwen: *nods her head* Poor thing, we could hear her... from here, even..... *closes her eyes, sniffles*
Aragorn: *nods his head* It could not have been pleasant.
Galadriel: *wrinkles her brow* Nay, that could not have been pleasant.
Aragorn: Arwen had to stop me from going to help >.> She said I would be in the way.
Galadriel: There is only so much to be done at a birthing, no matter how tragic it gets. *nods her head*
Arwen: *decided, after hearing Zaira screaming that she? Does not need to be pregnant, anytime soon.*
Aragorn: *great*
Aragorn: *wraps his arms around Arwen, and kisses the top of her head* I see you've got your ring back.
Arwen: *goes through a bit of a coughing fit, then lets out a frustrated little groan*
Galadriel: I think it is time for bed. *kisses Arwen on the forehead* Help me tuck her in, Aragorn?
Aragorn: *nods his head, and helps get Arwen into bed*
Arwen: *gets tucked into a bed* *rather unwillingly* I am fine...
Galadriel: Nay, you are not. *puts an extra blanket on her, smooths her hair*
Aragorn: *adds another blanket too >.>*
Galadriel: *walks into the adjoining room, makes some tea to give Arwen*
Aragorn: *Follows*
Aragorn: *touches Galadriel's shoulder*
Galadriel: *smiles at him* Should you not be in a chair?
Aragorn: Merely concered for you.
Galadriel: *smiles at him* I appreciate your concern, but I am alright.
Aragorn: *gives her a gently reproachful look*
Galadriel: Would I lie to you, Aragorn? *chuckles, mixes tea up*
Aragorn: You would disguise the truth. *winks*
Galadriel: *shakes her head* I am not disguising the truth.
Aragorn: You look weary.
Galadriel: I have done a great deal in the past few months.
Aragorn: All of it I am thankful for. *smiles* One is allowed to worry.
Galadriel: You need not be worried. I am nearly healed - enough for Celeborn to allow me out of prison, in any case. *chuckles*
Aragorn: *laughs* prison?
Aragorn: I suppose it could be considered that.
Galadriel: He has had me asleep in bed for over a week.
Galadriel: *shakes her head, still believes that was unnecessary*
Aragorn: *would agree with Celeborn*
Aragorn: *isn't about to say that in front of her right now tho!*
Galadriel: *pours hot water into the mug* Much of the reason I was drained, can be attributed to saving your life. I would do that again, without question. But do not be concerned.
Aragorn: And that is why I thank you. *bows*
Galadriel: *stops him* That is unnecessary.
Aragorn: Is it?
Galadriel: *nods* Yes, it is.
Aragorn: *nods his head*
Galadriel: *hands him a mug* Have her drink this?
Aragorn: LEaving her to me, hm?
Galadriel: I would like a cup, myself. *and to sit down*
Aragorn: *nods his head, and takes the tea to Arwen!*
Galadriel: *fixes herself a mug, and takes a seat*
Aragorn: *makes Arwen drink*
Arwen: *grumbles, half-heartedly, but drinks it*
Aragorn: *kisses her forehead* Good girl.
Arwen: *goes back to curling up and feeling miserable*
Aragorn: *cuddles her and pampers her, and gives her stern kingtalkings*
Arwen: *listens, is captive audience!* *cuddles him in return*
