Who: Elphir and a guard captain
What: CSI: Dol Amroth
When: Shortly after the letter to his father.
Elphir: *sits in his chair, leaning back and looking at the ceiling* So, let me spell this out. The first woman. Two weeks ago, she was found gagged and bound, and contorted to resemble a chair. What was the cause of death again?
Guard-captain Arahar: She bled out, Lord. Slowly. It would not have been pleasant, especially on top of the other injuries.
Elphir: Was she raped?
Arahar: I don't think so.
Elphir: And the second woman...you found her just two days ago.
Arahar: *helpfully* Staked to a wall and stretched out to resemble a shelf, Lord. Complete with books atop her back.
Elphir: *dryly sarcastic* And not one person, heard the hammering of spikes into a wall.
Arahar: Uh..no sir. >.>
Elphir: *same tone as before* Right. *straightens in his chair and finally looks at the Guard-captain.* Have they been identified?
Arahar: *nods his head* The first woman was Eirien. She was..ah..she serviced rich men.
Elphir: *squeezes the bridge of his nose* A prostitute. Lovely. I may think their line of work pitiful, but they do not deserve to be murdered. I just know we will find a third, and in short order, unless we can find this killer.
Arahar: *nods his head* I have guards watching the usual haunts of these ladies. It seems like he is targeting the upper class women. The rich ones. Companions and the like.
Elphir: Just what I need. Either he is some nobleman who has snapped, or a commoner who cannot afford anything better than an aged, toothless street walker, and is taking out his ills on high class prostitutes.
Arahar: Has the Prince been..?
Elphir: I've appraised him of the murders, but I gave no details. The last thing he needs is to read about human bodies turned into furniture over afternoon tea.
Arahar: Ah, excellent then. The Lord Prince should not be kept in the dark, but these are...rather horrific.
Elphir: They are. *sighs, and gets up, the chair creaking as he does so* Step up the guard, especially in the richer districts, and near the known brothels, and keep me appraised. If another is found, I want her undisturbed until I get there myself.
Arahar: *salutes* Yes, Lord! *turns and darts out*
Elphir: *pours himself some wine, and swishes it around in the glass**to no one in particular, and in that dryly sarcastic voice* Why can we not have normal murderers?
