Dudes, they closed down remnants!
I don't whether to cheer or to mourn, but frankly, I'd stopped reading anyhow.

I probably should post in my poor abandoned craft blog... Tell me if you think I'm abusing the comm / off-topic / annoying you guyes.
I did rewind/rearrange the Evilla! It was a little nightmarish - that yarn breaks easily, and for some reason I can't really manage an even tension when winding a cake from another/other cakes instead of from a swift.
Anyway, here's step one, making tiny balls of each color as best I could, then step two, rewinding those to get three balls, one of each pink. Sorry for the blurriness of the pictures - I tried to not use the flash to get the truest colors I could obtain.
Now, unrelatedly, here's the turquoise skein of 'heavy' dk from colourmart. Let me tell you, a skein of 1100 yards of DK once washed takes a LOT more space, and also, about 5 days to dry (it came oiled on a cone - not one knot! - which was much more compact). I can't wait to start swatching and decide what stole/blanket to knit with it.
As for the pink laceweight shawl in now-progressive coloring, I'm still leaning towards Grade, but I'm wondering if it's not going to be a little long/hard. Two strands of laceweight together can't be knit at much more than 4mm without being too loose, no? I really need to start swatching this, because I have no clue if I have the patience to knit a huge garter stitch shawl in 4mm needels (or under). The ones I did were on 5.5mm...
/end Sunday report *g*
