Albus hadn't felt like opening another piece of luggage. Possibly ever. Last time he had, none of it had really ended well. He'd been worried about always hanging onto his mum and dad, and a part of him felt as if it were his fault things were becoming so shitty in his family; that it was his fault they weren't talking. And he knew it was definitely his fault that his mother was so uppity about having children. He knew he wasn't helping the matter much with his attitude towards her. And for the first time ever, Albus wished he wasn't part of the Potter clan. He was just messing it up and disappointing his family.
But it seemed his luggage didn't really care what he wanted. Another had opened today, upon his coming home. Thankfully, this one wasn't really upsetting. In fact, it gave him a reason to think a little more positively. He;d been studying his dark magic for a about a year back home now, and he had just started back up now. For a while, it had bothered him that he was so easily enthralled by the dark magic, now though, now he enjoyed the feeling of power he had, the knowledge that he was receiving.
Still, it wouldn't have been baggage if he didn't need to think on it, which was what lead him this day, to the cliffs. Behind him were a system of caves with different openings here and there. One day, when he really felt like he was fucking up, he would go and wander through them, trying to find out their maze-like secrets. Today though, he just wanted to think. That wasn't so terrible.
Behind him, he could hear the unsettling of the sandy ground. Perhaps, because of all the rumors of Helena being beat up, he whipped around to see what was making the sound. "Lestrange." Of course he knew her. She was in books and the like. She had fought his parents and was killed by his grandmother. He knew her well. And what a coincidence that he would be the one to find her, on the very day that this piece of luggage opened.
