Lily didn't know why she was so angry. It was her birthday, after all, regardless of the storm outside. She was even declaring herself to be eighteen, when just over a month before she had turned seventeen. It was an occasion for Lily to be happy and chipper, but instead she had been sulking and not caring to mouth off. She had wanted a picnic on the beach with her dad and her brothers. She had wanted to go swimming. She wanted it to be warm and sunny.
Having taken Sirius' suggestion, she created a makeshift picnic area in the sitting room of her bungalow. Using her and Luna's bed sheets, she had made a small fort and laid out a blanket. She didn't have much food in the house, but had found some crisps, drinks and enough fixings to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She sat cross-legged in the tent, hoping Harry wasn't blown away in the storm.
