"I'd like to meet him," Roxanne agreed. "Actually, he was the first person I talked to - over the journal. I wasn't very nice to him. I should probably apologize in person." Roxanne felt that she couldn't necessarily be blamed for reacting the way she did, but he still deserved an apology.
Roxanne began telling her mother more about their lives, back in the real world. She talked about Fred, childhood memories, their family antics. In some ways, educating her mother on the things that she should have known already was odd, but sitting with her, Roxanne didn't mind. They may have been close in age, but to Roxanne, she was her mother, no matter what, and that is what mattered most.
