Kevin's jaw tightened, it was about to blow up in his face and it was his own damn fault. Sure he could in essence throw a temper tantrum but that wouldn't look childish or anything. And he was trying to avoid all forms of childishness; she'd already made a few comments about his age the last time, no need to add to it all. Running a frustrated hand through his hair, Kevin was trying to find the words on how to renege his statement but coming up cold. He was glad when she added quietly that she wanted to go as well, it gave him a response; not to mention he felt a little more warm towards her, his lips quirking into a small almost timid (only slightly apologetic) smile. "I'd- it'd be nice to try and go. With you. I mean-" and Kevin floundered there. He wasn't good at expressing himself verbally and kissing her seemed wildly inappropriate.
