If there was one thing Alicia could grow to count on it was that wizards constantly underestimated Muggles. Muggles were adaptive, muggles were inventive. They couldn’t rely on wands and the like to get shit done. Magic was so endless it almost stole the imagination. Knowing something was possible killed the drive to see if it really could be done. Muggles weren’t limited by this and Alicia believed this could play a key part in bringing those masked motherfuckers down.
Dean smarted off and they killed his family. She smarted off and she knew that they would come after hers. She had a feeling they would be cocky enough to think she couldn’t adapt to their tactics. They were horribly mistaken. Alicia Spinnet wasn’t about to play dead. If they wanted to play dirty then she would show them what a true mudblood looked like.
She hadn’t seen her father in year. Years. He didn’t even have time to recognize her before she handed him a plane ticket and told him zombies were coming after his blood after she killed the leader’s mate. He never really took much interest in the wizarding world, he didn’t need to be bothered with the real specifics now. She wouldn’t come back unless it was deadly serious and luckily for him he had a brother in California. Death Eaters wouldn’t be able to track him down there, not unless they had an understanding of the muggle world that would put a private investigator to shame.
Her dad had moved into a smaller place once she had left. It took her a bit of tracking to find it but it didn’t take too long. None of her stuff was even in there. These people were going to attack a man who knew nothing about her, let alone about the war. It seemed so senseless. Still, she couldn’t let him die. With her father taken care of she took about booby trapping the house. It wasn't that she was picking a fight, she was just going to make sure they got one when they started it. Fire blasts would come down when the doors were opened, exploding glass when they walked into the wrong room and best of all a device to warn her when someone broke in. She wasn’t leaving the traps to have all the fun, if they wanted to kill someone then they were going to have to deal with someone could fight back.
As Alicia received the notice that her wards were going off she acted quickly, sticking a premade note to her journal before grabbing her wand. Before apparating she quickly placed a muggle gun in her trouser pocket, just in case. She’d never blame anyone for not showing up for a battle that wasn’t theirs but she knew if those cowards were still there that she would need help hiding the bodies at the very least. This wasn’t her home but she wasn’t going to let Death Eaters run all over it.
“Who got blood on the carpet? Fucking pureblood is a bitch to get out, tossers!”
