THREAD
Who: Pansy Parkinson and Draco Malfoy
When: 31 August 2000, Evening
Where: One of Pansy and Draco's favourite London restaurants
Rating: Moderate/Low
Summary: Pansy wants to remind Draco of what he's missing and Draco get together like old friends do.
Another night, another event for Pansy Parkinson. Except that tonight was entirely different-- it was the first time she was actually going to see Draco since she found out that they hadn't been matched with one another. While Pansy had worked through the frustration and rage, and while Euan certainly hadn't been the worst draw from the lot, the jealousy was still simmering at the pit of Pansy's stomach. For all of her bluster, it simply wasn't fair that Draco had been placed with somebody who clearly didn't deserve him or the position of being part of the Minister's family.
Of course, those were all thoughts that Pansy had kept carefully close to her chest. Doing anything except but showing her support for the programme wasn't an option, especially when doing so would just throw her in with the rest of the herd made up of her whining and complaining peers. So, like always, Pansy had held her head high and displayed an unfailing gratitude for her match, despite her true feelings. She couldn't help but wonder if Draco felt the same.
So once she'd finished her work for the day, Pansy had hurried home to prepare for her visit with Draco. Once she was ready, clad in one of her favourite dresses, Pansy apparated to the restaurant where she had agreed to meet Draco. She was early, she'd meant to arrive before Draco, so after she'd checked on their reservation and insured that the staff had reserved one of the more secluded tables for her and Draco that evening, Pansy headed to the bar to wait for Draco to arrive.
