As soon as she found out that Ellie was sick, even before asking for Owen's permission, she already had a few things packed. Nothing to big. A little bear that she's had that since she was a baby and a music player that always seemed to calm her down whenever she was sick as a child. Hoping these things would at least give Ellie some comfort, it was the only thing she could really think of.

Putting her cloak on, she left him another note on his journal telling him she was on his way. With that, she disapperated from her home. Sienna had been wanting to go over and visit Owen. They hadn't had much time for each other lately. Course Sienna was busy with work, then meeting up with Blaise. While she was worried about Ellie, she also missed spending time with Owen too.

Arriving outside of Owen's home, Sienna didn't want to just walk in so instead she knocked on the door and waited for him to let her in.

"Just went down a few minutes ago," Owen agreed before having the wind knocked out of him by a collision with Sienna. After a moment he got over the surprise and hugged her back, completely alright with this level of physical contact. He'd always been an affectionate person, especially with people that he was close with. And Sienna had always been a good friend to him and Rachel.

"It's alright, I think I needed one too," Owen said into her hair before she let ago. He'd been feeling pretty worn down himself. Ellie was a constant reminder of Rachel, and with these forced marriages, Owen's thoughts seemed to be circling around the mother of his daughter even more than usual.

"Can I get you a drink?" Owen asked, cocking his head towards the kitchen and trying to think about what he had in there. Obviously there was formula and some other baby foods, and probably some beers. "A beer, maybe?"

"A beer would be great, thanks." Sienna went ahead and took a seat as she waited for him. "I wasn't sure if she was sleeping or not, I brought over some things for her. Always seemed to help whenever I was sick." Shrugging, not sure if it would be any help to the girl or not.

Taking her bag, she pulled out her teddy bear. "Don't laugh, his name is Francis..when I was younger I used to think he had magical powers and could make me feel better whenever I was sick." Laughing a little at her own silliness. "Then there's my music box." Pulling that out as well. "My mum said it used to help me get to sleep when I was a baby. Just thought Ellie might like it."

He covered his mouth to prevent a laugh when Sienna identified the bear as Francis, and tried to think if he had had some sort of an equivalent as a child. But nothing was coming to mind, so he supposed he could ask his father if he got desperate.

"I'm sure she'll love them," Owen said with a warm smile at the little gifts that Sienna had brought over. It really touched him that she was trying to look out for his daughter, even though she didn't have to. It was nice to have so many friends around who cared for him and for Ellie so much. It made being a single dad who worked too many hours just to make ends meet a little more bearable.

"I'll be right back," Owen said softly over his shoulder as he headed into the kitchen. He opened the fridge and looked around at the selection he had before uncovering two beers that were hidden in the back. He tried not to drink much, as Ellie was still so young, and he certainly didn't want to develop some sort of an alcohol addiction. A beer every now and then with a friend was enough for him.

He opened the bottles with a muggle bottle opener before heading back into his living room and handing one of them to Sienna. "How was your day?" Owen asked before taking a long swig of the beer.

Sienna raised her eyes as he tried to cover up his laugh, but she didn't say anything. Still, she couldn't help but smile a little bit, pleased and hopeful that Ellie would like them. She couldn't of anything else to do for the poor girl.

As she took the bottle, she shrugged and took a drink before replying, "It was okay. Nothing to big I suppose, what about you?"

"I've just been here," Owen said with a shrug, resting the bottle on his knee and reading the label absentmindedly. This was his favorite type of beer, even if he didn't get to have it very often.

"I had to miss work," Owen sighed, pausing to take another long swig of the beer. It felt good to unwind a little, knowing that Ellie was sleeping peacefully in the other room. Or at least as peacefully as she could with whatever was ailing her.

"I'm going to have to pull a double to make up for it."

Owen nodded in agreement at Sienna's statement about Hogwarts. There were so many times that he thought back to his sixth year, when he and Rachel had finally started dating and admitting their feelings for one another. It had been so long that Owen had almost forgotten how it felt to be so thoroughly and happily in love. Life was so simple at school. No pulling double shifts, no worries about making ends meet... Just classes, and friends.

"I might need to take you up on that," Owen nodded. He was lucky that he had so many friends that were willing to help watch Ellie. He would have never been able to work enough to make ends meet, and he certainly didn't have enough to hire a babysitter.
