Who: Angelina Johnson and OPEN
What: Buying things she doesn't need after picking up a dress.
When: Thursday Afternoon
Where: Quality Quidditch Supplies
Rating: E
Status: Open/In Progress

One ball, three dates, and only two she actually wanted to go with. Going with both George and Alicia would be ideal, but Palmer seemed to think they should go as well. That was probably Angelina's own fault, because she couldn't keep her own mouth shut. She really, really wanted to hit her future husband. She was torn, no idea what to do. She didn't want to back away from Palmer's challenge, but she didn't want to ditch her friends. Why was she so competitive? Sometimes, she really was her own wost enemy.

After spending hours inside Dulce Fleur, she left the shop with a dress she was pleased with. She was heading down the streets, when she walked past Quality Quidditch Supplies, and automatically slowed her step as she walked past. She came to a halt, staring at the bag in her hands. The dress was expensive, but she could still afford to browse her favorite store, and maybe even buy something if she liked it.

A small grin on her face, Angelina back tracked, and headed right to the door, swinging it open and stepping inside. Even if she enjoyed fashion, she would always feel more at home here than at any dress shop. Her eyes immediately swept the room, checking to see who was working, or if she knew anyone else in the shop.

Anything this store held could easily tempt her. She was a sucker for spending money here, and anyone who was here enough knew it. She didn't care if they did, she always put what she bought to use, one way or another. She followed his eyes when he glanced over, and then moved toward the rack to get a better look at the product.

She read the label, reading the list of what it was supposed to do with interest. Yea, of course it interested her. Not to mention it would be great to be able to repair the brooms easily without having to have someone look at it.

"Not here." she said, looking up from the product, with a shrug. She did have some though. Actually, she had quite a few, Angie never got rid of her brooms if she could help it. "But if you want, I can send some this way when I get home. I don't mind you testing some stuff on them." as long as the didn't explode into a million pieces. But even if they did...well, she had more.

"Its supposed to fix only problems with the body of the broom," Owen said, almost reading Angelina's mind about the product. "If you do anything to the spellwork of the broom, its quite useless. As would be expected. It's not easy discovering what went wrong and how to fix it on a broken broom. And if it were, Terry would certainly be out of a job."

"We've got some new gloves, too," Owen said gesturing over to the wall that had almost every type of Quidditch glove in existence. "They're great, but from a small company, hence the inconspicuous packaging and location. Relatively cheap too, especially when you feel them, and see the difference they make from any other pair on the market."

"Merlin knows I end up with quite a few problems with the broom after some games." she muttered, mostly thinking of the Falcons, and how it held so many people she wanted to just hit over the head with a Beaters Bat. But it wasn't just them, she had found herself in a lot of dirty games, and even clean games could leave her broom chipped. "I'll take some of that then. I've got a few brooms that could use some treatment." plus it would give her something to do tonight, she didn't really have anywhere to be.

Now the gloves she didn't need, at all. She had a bunch of pairs, and there were certain ones she needed to wear during games. But of course she turned her attention to them anyway. She'd want to them, just to have, and just in case they did become something popular. And if not, they might be something different, a kind she might find use for later. "Well those I definitely don't need." she said, eying them. "Which is while I'll probably buy those anyway." sometimes she had to wonder if she had more things from this store than the store itself. They could open up a second branch in her living room.

"They're really not that expensive, and actually much better than some of the equipment the professional teams are wearing these days," Owen said with a small shrug, shifting his weight a little as he leaned against the counter. He was an experienced salesman, he'd put the ideas in her head, now he just had to let her go wander around and stumble across something on her own. It was especially easy with Angelina, since she always seemed to be buying loads more than she needed.

While Owen did feel slightly guilty that they took so much of her paycheck, he was working on commission, and every knut he got helped with the rent and with Ellie. One day he wouldn't have to worry about pushing people so hard--in his own, very quiet and unobtrusive way--and he'd been living the good life. But for now, he had to take everything he could get.

She looked up from the selection of the gloves, a grin on her face. "I'm sure you know this already Owen. You don't need to talk me into buying these things. Put them in front of me and I'll buy it." she wouldn't be surprised if people felt relieved when she walked it. Angelina was an easy person to sell Quidditch supplies to, period.

She had heard about Owens daughter, and honestly, she had no problem pumping money into the store. Besides, lots of girls had a shopping problem. Her problem just happened to be with Quidditch anything. Picking up a pair of the gloves in her size, in the same red colour as the Bats, she walked back to the counter, and grabbed a thing of polish. "Ring me through."
