WHO: Parvati Patil, Mikael Harper, and OPEN!
WHEN: Tuesday July 1st, 2002
WHERE: Bolsover Castle, Derbyshire
WHAT: The WEDDING... reception!
RATING: PG-13 in case of cursing
STATUS: OPEN/ In progress

"I do." Two words which made Parvati want to scream. For the most part her wedding had been nice and traditional, well for her culture anyways, however it seemed Mrs. Patil had spoken with Mrs. Harper and they arranged for some parts of the wedding to be normal, British vows. It annoyed Parvati, but oh well. At least the wedding was over with. She was officially Mrs. Mikael Harper. Parvati wrinkled her nose subconciously, disliking the name. Mrs. Parvati Harper. Ew. Still horrible. Parvati smiled as she finished speaking with one of Mikel's relatives, feeling the odd urge to leap off a cliff. This was supposed to be the happiest day of her life. So much for that.

Parvati smiled at her guests, realising she did not know half of them. Extended family from India. Ew. Now where was her wonderful husband? She had a few things to say to him. Deciding it would be best not to yell at her own wedding, Parvati took her place near the bright flowers, receiving the blessings of women wishing her a fertile marriage, with a fake smile. She was most definitely going to gag.

"Nothing will ever compare to the binge eating of last night. I swear, I was unable to move for a while. I thought I'd never ever eat chocolate again, but this very cake here told me not to be stupid and to try it and what can I say? I will always be addicted to chocolate." He sighed dramatically.

"I don't see how you could even think of not eating chocolate again. That... would be the worst thing ever. Next you'll be swearing off ice cream! Shiva forbid such a thing." Parvati smiled and refilled their glasses.

"I wonder if it's calmed down out there."

"I know! It's a horrible thought and you see how worse and critical my condition was because I was actually thinking it." Mikael grinned before glancing at the door.

"I wouldn't bet on it and I won't dare to take a look either."

"Hmmm, to throw you out there or not. Now there's a good question." Parvati smiled and pushed her plate away, eyeing the door critically. It was a good question. He did need to suffer for leaving her alone. "I think... I am full. Of the cake at least."

"I've already been out there to get the champagne, I'd say we are even," Mikael pointed out, now eating his third piece of cake.

"Well have more champagne then."

"Champagne does not make us even. You popping out there for fifteen minutes is nothing compared to two hours of listening to every family member on both our sides telling me the most disgusting things while I'm forced to keep a smile." Parvati shot him a glare, resisting the urge to either shove the cake in his face or throw the glass of champagne. Instead she chose to take another sip of her drink.
