Daniel was nervous. He felt like such a girl, the way he'd fussed over his clothes and attempted to get his shaggy hair in some semblance of order. Finally he settled on a white polo shirt with thin dark blue stripes and a long sleeve shirt underneath with a pair of clean dark denims and his brown boots. He gave Bella a few treats and scratched her tummy before taking his keys and leaving the flat.

He apparated to a spot a few blocks from the entrance to the park. Daniel hoped the short walk would help calm his nerves a bit. He really had no idea what he was doing. Girls like Tracey didn't take an interest in guys like him. Still she seemed to take an interest in him and he was having a bit of a time getting her out of his head. He felt slightly guilty with his impending marriage to Su, but he pushed it down. He'd think about that later. Arriving at the entrance, Daniel looked around and didn't spot her. He shoved his hands in his pockets and waited, humming softly to himself.

	Daniel just shrugged as she continued to talk about their impending marriages. He really didn't want to think about it. He perked up though when she decided to drop it. "Nearly," he smiled and squeezed her hand gently. "There's a little spot at the top of the hill. You can see the sunset behind part of the city." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Really?" To be this excited about a sunset was ridiculous. Tracey frowned at the hill, wishing she had a broom. Though that wouldn't help with muggles around. Oh well, they were almost up it anyways and as soon as they reached the top she smiled. "Remind me not to wear anything with heels next time." She leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked. 	Smiling, he turned his head and kissed her hair. He didn't stop to think about it. It just felt like the thing to do, so he did. He blushed a bit and looked around the hill. There were a few boulders just to their left. Daniel cast a cushioning charm on them and led her over. He hopped up and sat down, then held out a hand for her. "Come on," he smiled. 	A slow blush made its way across Tracey's face, completely ruining it in her opinion, but she took his hand anyways. Climbing onto the boulders, she purposefully stumbled, just barely falling onto his lap. Oh well, he was a good seat. Tracey smiled and readjusted herself. "How much longer until sunset?" Daniel grinned at her blush. God, she was gorgeous. He laughed softly when she stumbled and set his arms loosely around her when she settled on his lap. He wasn't sure where his sudden boldness came from, except that he felt so comfortable with her, even if she did make him a little nervous.

That smile coupled with her nearness gave him butterflies. He tried to ignore them as he smiled back. "Any time now."

For a moment, Tracey felt like she was the one who was lost. He made her too comfortable. Too happy. She needed to regain her control somehow. She didn't look around, instead smiling at him for another moment. "It'll go on for a while, right?" If not, she could see a stupid sunset some other time. She pushed his shaggy hair back and leaned in, brushing her lips against his tentatively. Feeling no resistance she slid her hands behind his neck, deepening the kiss.

Daniel was about to respond to her question when he felt her lips on his. Sure the moment had sort of built up to this, but he was still a bit surprised by it. Any sort of excuse he could come up with to stop flew out of his head as she deepened the kiss. She still tasted like strawberries and somewhere in his mind he wondered if it was the gloss she wore. As he continued to kiss her, one of his hands slid slowly over her back bringing her closer. The other ran through her hair.

Tracey had been a little startled when his body tensed up, but soon enough he was responding nicely. She found herself pressing up against him, her fingers sliding down his arms as their mouths melded together. It was pleasing since she could practically feel when he tried to breath and pulled her lips away slowly. "Is the sunset yet?" She didn't want to look away from him.

"Nothing. Just look." She turned enough so her back was pressing against his chest. The sunset was happening and it really was beautiful. Tracey felt her breath catch and wished she had been forced to marry somebody like Daniel. Even if it was still forcing, he would have made it more bearable.

She leaned back against him, simply watching the view. It was relaxing.

	He looked up when she turned and smiled. Daniel really loved this time of day. Even someplace like London, which he secretly didn't like living in as it was often so dreary, looked beautiful at sunset. Daniel liked the way she fit against him as they sat there. His arms around her waist held her a bit more snuggly and he rested his chin on her shoulder. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Tracey smiled, her eyes looking to Daniel's face near her shoulder. She could get used to this. Turning her head just enough, she gave him a soft kiss. "You know, you probably shouldn't see me. I've been described as the type of girl mothers warn their good little sons about."

She smiled, making it sound like a joke. Oh bloody hell, he had better not be growing on her.

Daniel smiled when she kissed him. He liked this, probably more than he should considering the ministry situation. Biting his lip, turned towards her and laughed softly at her comment. "I don't know. I don't think you're as bad as all that," he smiled. "I think if anything being seen with me would ruin your image as a bad girl." Daniel smirked a bit saying the last words with finger quotes.

"Oh? You don't think I'm a bad girl then?" Tracey smiled, appreciating it for the first time. Though still, she had this odd feeling she should warn him. Oh well, there went the warning. She turned in his lap again and kissed his neck, pressing his mouth in butterfly kisses until she reached his ear. "Trust me, I'm definitely not the type of girl you should be with." Using her front teeth, she nibbled on his earlobe before pulling back.

"I thought you should know before you actually started to like me."

Daniel closed his eyes as she kissed along his neck. He hadn't been with anyone, kissing or otherwise, since Renae left him a few months ago. He wasn't the type to just go to a bar and pick someone up. It was hard to concentrate on her words when she nibbled his ear like that. The feel of her teeth sent a little shiver down his spine. He caressed her face again, kissed her. "I think it's too late for that."

	Tracey was pleased he had already taken to her. She tried to convince herself that it was because she was just that good. Not that she cared or wanted him to like her. Such a thing was ridiculous. Daniel didn't think he could be so taken with a girl he barely knew, but here he was in the park at sunset kissing someone he found absolutely breathtaking. His tongue tangled with hers and any guilt that he had earlier about Su disappeared. All he could focus on was Tracey, the way she tasted, how she felt in his arms. He held her close, a hand pressing into the small of her back.

Daniel broke the kiss and rested his forehead against hers. He heard voices behind him of some people walking by. He blushed and bit his lip. "I'm glad I made you drop your candy," he said softly with a boyish grin. "I know it's kind of wierd with everything but I want to see you again."

"If you're really sure about it, then of course we should see each other again." She was not giving this one up easily. Tracey smiled and hesitantly moved off of him, though she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Actually, I think I'm going to see you again even if you aren't very sure."

She smiled, holding his hand and watching the sunset. A few people were looking their way so it was best not to be too affectionate. "I suppose you have places to go."

	Daniel returned the hug and got down from the boulder extending a hand to help her as well. "Good night, Tracey," he smiled. He headed for the nearby treeline to apparate home. (Reply to this) (Parent)
