WHO: Harry and Ginny
WHEN: Sunday Night
WHERE: Ginny's Flat
WHAT: Finding someone that doesn't tick him off
RATING: We'll say PG ... might be some slight cursing.
STATUS: Closed / In progress

Harry was absolutely ticked. He'd gone out with Hermione for an hour or two and the whole bloody world comes crashing down. There had been a reason he had never wanted to get married. He'd simply forgotten what it was until now. It was a bloody pain in the arse, that's what. He still couldn't believe this. She goes and says that she's falling in love with him then invites her ex-boyfriend to live with them the following day and wonders why he's not impressed. As far as he was concerned it didn't take a bloody rocket scientist to figure it out.

To hell with it. Adrian can have the whole fucking lot. To sa that he was angry might have be an understatement, but he couldn't help it. In all honesty, he was jealous, but for Harry that was a big deal. He'd never had to deal with this sort of jealousy before. He didn't know what to do with the doubts and it was coming out in the only way it could.

After what seemed like ages, Harry finally arrived outside of Ginny's flat. He'd partially come here to make a point to Daphne and partially because he was comfortable around Ginny. He had always been and there was a trust there that he didn't exactly feel with Daphne at the moment. After climbing the steps and knocking on her door, he reeled in as much of his anger as possible. One could still tell as it was all but creating a bubble around him, but at least he was trying.

Ginny smiled at Harry as he spoke. She could have guessed this would be their parting conversation, especially since she could see he wasn't completely miserable. Speaking of which, "And you looked miserable when you first got here," Ginny smiled, taking his hand and pulling herself up, too, "In the best way possible." Ginny did not know what this meant exactly, but she felt it was in the best way possible in that he looked better now. This was a compliment, she believed.

Part of Ginny wanted Harry to stay. All of the company she had in her flat so far, she would have preferred they stay, even her mother, at times. Ginny had a feeling the next few days would be ones of reminiscing, of getting in touch with friends, of visiting home - and not just because she had a wedding to plan and go through with. As she tugged on her shirt, coming to her feet, Ginny put her hand on Harry's back to usher him to the door. He had recovered, enough, it seemed and was on his way home or, well, somewhere. "Oh, and next weekend - wedding at my house." Ginny smiled to herself. "Not this one, the Burrow, I mean."

As they reached the door, Ginny wrenched it open and rested her hand on her hip, leaning tiredly against the frame. "You can apologise all you want, you know I won't accept it." Grinning, still wondering whether or not she should have given him a harder time, stepped forward and hugged him around the middle. She hoped she wouldn't have to double think everything she did with Harry because he was now a married man. Ginny let go, leaned back against the door frame and allowed him to leave, offering him a small grin.

He was a bit surprised when she mentioned a wedding. The last time he had spoken with her there had been no wedding and she hadn't been particularly interested in having one. A part of him was relieved that she wasn't going to fight the ministry. He'd been to Azkaban on occassion and he didn't want to see her in a place like that, particularly since the dementors had returned.

"You know I'll be there," he smiled, letting her guide him to the door. It wasn't something that he was going to miss. He'd known Ginny for a good portion of his life and she'd always been there for him when he needed it. It was about time he could do the same thing for her.

When she hugged him, Harry returned the embrace. As far as he was concerned, she didn't need to watch her actions around him. He might have been married but he was still the same Harry he'd been for the past 10 years. His friends meant a lot to him and they always would. "Night, Gin."
