Who: Seamus Finnigan and Luna Lovegood
When: Tuesday, June 11th - 6 pm
Where: Maria's Restaurant
What: A date?!
Rating: E for all!
Status: In Progress

The concept of a date was terrifying enough for Seamus, but a date with Luna Lovegood-no a date with his bloody FIANCE!- was what was driving him mad tonight. Maria's was actually a fancy kind of place, but he could afford it tonight. His mam had been so happy to hear he was getting married, whether forced to or not, she had given him an early wedding present. The woman was mad!

Seamus tightening the long blue tie around his throat, giving brief thought on whether to hang himself or not. No, there were no ties long enough. Rolling him eyes, Seamus muttered a sod this shite and took the tie off, pocketing it. If they gave him a hassle about it at the restaurant he would put it on then. Best to be a little early. After a stop in the kitchen, a nip of whiskey to calm the nerves, he headed out to Maria's. Blast it all, I have to be off my rocker.

Luckily enough the restaurant was more relaxed then his coworkers had led him to believe. Note to self: Murder Barry for making me nervous bout this place. Seamus settled himself down in one of the chairs near the terrace, taking his coat off and unbuttoning the top of his shirt to enjoy the summer breeze. Please don't let Luna be embarassing tonight. He prayed to whatever gods may listen to a indecisively suicidal Irishman.

It hadn't taken long for Luna to get from her flat to Maria's, the place surprisingly only being a bit of away so she had opted to walk instead of apparating. She hummed happily as she made her way down the darkening street, enjoying the night air. Was she nervous to meet Seamus? No, not at all. This situation was strange of course, even for her, but wasn't life full of surprises? This was just another event in her life.
With a giggle she smiled up at the sky. She was on her way to meet her future husband, how interesting was that?

The restaurant came into view and she changed her walk into a skip and a light tinkling sound filled the air. Just as she had promised, she was there with bells on. She had pulled her thick hair into a high ponytail so the end of it brushed the back of her neck and attached tiny golden bells onto a few light blond strands. They weren't very obvious unless she moved enough. She had never been to the restaurant before so she wasn't too sure of the dress code, but then again she had never really been one to worry too much about fashion guidelines. She had dressed herself in a thigh-length, long sleeved dress of floaty green and deep purple fabric and purple tights, a pair of shiny black flats on her feet.

When she stepped inside of the restaurant the hostess eyed her with a rather apparent looking of bemusement, staring at the sparkling little bells, and Luna grinned at her.

"Hello, is there a Seamus Finnigan here?" she asked pleasantly. The hostess blinked before nodding slowly.

"Er, yes...follow me please." She stepped around Luna, beckoning her to follow her out to the terrace where the blond haired man was seated. Luna lifted her hand and waved brightly before striding over to him, leaving the hostess to stare after her.

"Why, hello there Hubby!"

Seamus could have sworn he heard a slight clatter of bells in the distance, but put it off to nerves. Tapping his fingers on the table out of boredom, and annoying those at the table next to him, he made a mental note never to arrive early again.

His ears perked at the word 'hubby' and his head automatically went to meet the cloth of the table. Figured she'd be use to it. Probably never thought she'd get married anyways. Lifting his head slowly from the table, Seamus managed a weak smile as he looked her over.

Could be a lot worse. His smile gained some strength and he laughed when he realised she had been literal with her dressing. "You actually put bells on?"

Standing up and trying not to laugh again, he pulled out the seat across from him. "Have a seat, Luna. It looks like you've already embraced the thought of marriage so I may as well not bother arguing. Yet."
