Sometimes Parvati needed a pick me up. She was barely sleeping recently because there were simply not enough hours in the day to do all she had to do. Between work and wedding planning she felt her head would explode. So she decided to take a breather and go shopping with Susan.

Parvati took a little longer dressing today, mainly because almost nothing went with her necklace. She finally decided on a pair of jeans and a black halter top to show off the necklace properly and hurried to meet up with Susan.

It had been a good half hour before she reached the mall. She was in a good mood and already her mind was start to feel a bit more relaxed. Now if only Susan would hurry.

Being a bit of a lazy bum, Susan had woken up late, forgetting about shopping with Parvati and hurried up and hopped in the shower and got out and threw her hair up into a bun only until it dried and hurried to get dressed. She threw on a black shirt that was a bit baggy on her and a pair of blue jeans that were also a bit baggy and some old sneakers. Not the best out fit in the whole world, but it was something comfortable, especially on her day off.

Susan was so lucky that she wasn't that far from the mall, as she hurried out of her flat and carried her bag with her money in it and made her way towards the mall. It only took her 45 minutes to get there. There was no way in the world she was going to use her magic, especially after the accident during her 6th year, she tries to keep magic down to a minimium. She hadn't put make-up or any jewelry on and tapped Parvati on the shoulder." Hey! So sorry for being late. Overslept." She said, yawning and looking around.

Parvati was seething. Not only was Susan late but she looked horrible! "Shiva! Seriously Susan, did you get dressed in the dark? Come on. We'll hit the clothing area first so you can wear something decent. Really, how could you leave the house looking like that? Actually, let's get the make up on first. Oh you must be MAD!"

Parvati was rambling as she pulled Susan along, hurrying her into the nearest department store. Was Susan mad? "Did you receive a match finally? That is the only valid excuse for looking like.. like THAT!" She gestured at Susan's outfit.

A soft gasp came from the young woman and glanced down at her clothing and groaned. "I was in a hurry, plus I don't have decent clothes to wear out-and-about anymore." She said, as she licked her lips and sighed. She had no idea that she looked that bad, she thought she looked half-way decent.

She took her hair down from the bun and shook it out a little bit. The blondeish brown colored locks hung past her shoulders and was still a little damp. "Okay, we'll get me fixed up." She agreed on getting some decent clothes and some make-up. She caught a glimpse of Parvati's necklace and gasped. "Oh my goodness! That is beautiful!" She said, wit ha grin and giggled.

"Isn't it? I absolutely love it. I saw a matching pair of earrings and I totally plan on using my darling fiance's money to get me them. Or annoy him until he buys me them. Do not let him know I love the necklace though." Parvati was perfectly in her element at the mall, especially when talking about jewelry. "Oh, and we picked out our rings. They are just to die for, Susan. My engagement ring has the most beautiful heart cut diamond."

As soon as they reached the make up counter Parvati forced Susan to sit down. Within an instant she was picking out colours and working on Susan's face. "We definitely need to get you some good clothes."

"I can't believe he bought you that! He must be loaded." She said, with a laugh, as she glanced down at the make-up counter and licked her lips. "Promise not to make me look like a clown. Last time this happened was when a bunch of the Hufflepuff girls tried to make me over and Megan and Eloise picked out bright, I mean, extremely bright colors for my face." She said, wrinkling her nose and puffing her cheeks.

	"Susan, I would never make you look like a clown. Not if you are to spend time near me." Parvati laughed, teasing her friend as she finished the make over. "Right. Let's hurry up and get you some new clothes. I can not allow you to wear those much longer. It's horrible. Oh, and Mikael is loaded. Unfortunately, for every knut he has his ego inflates."
