Daphne laughed. She must have forgotten that he had agreed to stay, though she wasn't quite sure if she ever knew. There was so much going on around her that she was forgetting the simple things left and right. "Well I'm sure my folks would be happy to have you here for a bit before we head off on our own," she said with a slight grin.
Two glasses of champagne appeared in front of them and Daphne almost sighed with relief. She picked it up and sipped at it as Harry spoke about leaving in the morning for work. "On a Sunday?" She questioned curiously. She could honestly say she wasn't hurt, but it would certainly bum her out if her own husband left less than twenty-four hours after they married for work. "Well, you're more than welcome to do that, if you want. Just remember Asteria's wedding is tomorrow, too." She really didn't mind if he went, it was just unfortunate.
When the couple came over, Daphne mostly entertained them, talking to them and doing her best to keep Harry away from any prodding questions. "That's my mum's sister Adalia, she married Eli Slang. Unfortunate couple, that one," she said with a laugh. "I'm not sure why they're here, mum doesn't much care for her."
