"A cup of English Breakfast and a ham sandwich, please," Rose told the waitress. She waited a moment for the woman to leave before turning back to Sam.
"I think we should decide how we're going to handle this. I can't afford the fine." She left the mention of Azkaban off; Sam had undoubtedly already read the announcements. "I don't know if the laws require cohabitation." Or other things, but Rose left that off, too. Her only relationship had consisted of little more than kissing and holding hands; her boyfriend had wanted more, but Rose had simply been too busy and not quite interested enough to find the time. "I'm keeping my last name, but otherwise I'm flexible."
Though if Sam expected her to babysit, there would be several desperate owls to Owen and her parents; the child looked far too breakable to be trusted to her care.
