"I'm Sam," he nodded with a small smile. He was very reluctant to reply with I am simply because sharing the name with a rather popular children's book made that particularly annoying. "And, yes, this is Gabriel." He smiled down at the sleeping baby curled against his chest.
Sitting down at the table, he set the diaper bag on the floor by his feet, deciding just to hold Gabriel instead of putting him in his baby chair. Feeling the little warmth that was his son was incredibly comforting and it helped keep him grounded. He nodded at her question. "We can get something if you'd prefer."
