Yesterday was the Queen D.'s birthday. Hope she had a good one.

Apparently it's not as easy as I thought it would be to move out of middle-America. Ugh, I really wasn't made for somewhere so ... flat, geographically AND stylistically. I'm a city-dweller, the brighter and busier the better. |

Working the line this week, three days in so far and good god do most people just not realize fast food workers are human too around here? It can get touchy at home, but this? This is downright inhumane. |

So I've decided that this place isn't so bad, even despite where I landed, I've got more resources here than I did back home, AND I don't have those damn clowns trying to horn in on my territory.
Kind of miss uncle Papa and the Queen D. though.
Anyway, I'm looking for a place to live that isn't the freakin' Midwest. Any suggestions? |
