You know, it's a sad state of affairs when London and New York are showing up Miami in terms of insanity.

Come on, guys. Leave the crazy to we heatstroked and underdressed senior citizens.

I have to admit, I never thought I'd see Detroit upstaged to this extent. Even Miami, with its liberal gun laws, seems to not quite make the bar these past few weeks.

I miss when my newly adopted, horrifyingly humid city filled with half-naked people of all ages topped the wacky scale.

These are great days indeed.

You know it's bad when I'm dating a demon and kind of think people should simmer down.

I'm a big fan of chaos, and I haven't had this much fun in a long while. You should get out there and enjoy it while it lasts.

If it's all the same, I'm going to stay inside and read. Lots of history to catch up on.

Though recently I seem to have taken up the role of evil's cheerleader, it honestly doesn't matter to me what you do.

You one of those guys who got flung here from the past, then?

No, just a garden variety nerd. I'm one of the boring ones, I think.

Sounds incredibly dull. I guess we all must have our hobbies, though.

Well, the other ones I just did. Already went to the shooting range once this week.

Ah, guns. As well as being a fan of chaos and evil, I'm also a fan of guns and other weaponry. I'm sure that's very shocking to you.

I guess I can forgive you for reading if you also enjoy shooting shit.

I'm a bodyguard. While I'm sure I could momentarily wound them with my razor-sharp wit and cunning, that's not exactly lethal.

Hey, I'm a bodyguard too. Well, that's the main part of my job anyways. Who do you work for, if I can ask?

Though thinking on my feet is something I've been able to do with a good deal of success, I'm not the smartest person ever. And so I find that razor-sharp knives beat out razor-sharp wit on most days.

Anne Bonney, actually. She's great.

I'm good at planning. Patience is my long suit.

Oh yeah, she's uh, one of the pirates, right? Heard her name once or twice.

I'm terrible when it comes to patience. I leave stuff to simmer too long, I explode, things get messy. It's something I'm working on.

That would be her.

Everything feels better when there's a payoff at the end. The planning is the best part.

I'm more into the execution than the planning. The buildup is never as nice as the finale anyways. But whatever floats your boat, man.
