Hi. None of you who know me will be surprised to note that I was a complete stoner and forgot to alert everyone that I'm on a road trip.

I have been for oh... about three weeks now. I'm currently in California, just south of the Oregon border, and I'll be making my way back across the country sometime in the next week.

Anyone want to come along? I just dropped my friends off at home yesterday and things are goddamn quiet. And I hate that.

Oh. I've...never done anything like that. I don't leave airstrip one. Ever.

Things are okay other than the fact I apparently fail as a father. My daughter's uncle came and took her away so now I'm...alone. I still have Poe, though. He's my parakeet.

But the house is rather lonely without Bree.

Hey man, you should at least get out more. I know it's a big wide world out there and you're more than a little apprehensive, but it'd probably help you out.

Wow. That really blows, Mr. Smith. If you want, I can come and keep you company after my road trip's over. But you know, you're invited to come along as well. Have you ever seen a waterfall in person?

What's a waterfall? Is that like rain? Because rain is water falling from the sky after all. I do like rain and have seen that in person.

Not at all like rain. It's when a river meets a cliff. The ones I'm going to be going and seeing today are some of the nicest ones in America, from what I hear.
Ever hear of Niagara Falls? They're kinda like that, only smaller.

And if you've never seen one, it's hard to explain how amazing they really are.
