Hi. None of you who know me will be surprised to note that I was a complete stoner and forgot to alert everyone that I'm on a road trip.

I have been for oh... about three weeks now. I'm currently in California, just south of the Oregon border, and I'll be making my way back across the country sometime in the next week.

Anyone want to come along? I just dropped my friends off at home yesterday and things are goddamn quiet. And I hate that.

Wonderful. Well, I'm at [address] in Crescent Park, California. How do you like oceans? There's this great view just outside my hotel window, it's really great.

Yeah, Che's a real sweetheart. I've known her since I got here, and she's just a nice lady all around.

I prefer the oceans here, where I'm told there's nothing in them. I'll attempt to use the portkey shortly.

Oh is she now?

There were things in your ocean? I mean, there's stuff in ours, too. Whales, sharks, pollution. You know, usual ocean wildlife, whatever.

And yeah, she is. She's totally sexy, too. I think I like her because she's different than most chicks. But you'll meet her. She'll tell you all about it.

Sin and Sinspawn. Monsters, I think you'd call them.

You admit you like her. That's sweet.

Monsters? Seriously?
Wow, Lulu, you've got quite the home world.

Hey, I can't not like her. She's a doll. And I'm guessing dudes from your world are jerks and don't admit that sort of thing?

Indeed. I quite miss Spira, but this world is interesting. New things to discover.

The men from home are like any other men, I'd expect. No more jerks than any other world.

Have you seen anything you really like about this world that yours doesn't offer? I actually want to hear about your world a little bit, too. Never been off this rock, or variations of it... so...

Well, it takes all types. I just wondered, since you pointed it out.

I do like cars. Motorized transport wasn't very popular in Spira, due to church mandate.

The men I'd traveled were either overemotional, young, or foolish. It's rare to meet someone who is in touch with their feelings and not sixteen.

That's pretty sucky. I love cars. A lot.

Hahaha yeah, I know guys who still haven't grown out of that. Probably won't ever grow out of it, either. Kinda glad the one I'm thinking of is back home and not here. He'd probably wind up being eaten by something here.

The shoopuf was fun, maybe you would have liked that as well.

Would he get eaten because he's emotionally stunted, or something else?

He'd get eaten because he's a complete idiot.

I don't know whether or not I'm glad to know that stupidity is universal.

That's why there's people like us, to care for them.
