I don't matter all that much, but for fuck's sake I'm so fucking tired of this fucking world and the shit it does to my kid. I can't go in there and get her hopes crushed again. It's not like I can avoid it though.

I hate when she looks at me like that.

Well uh, you know how people disappear and then show up a little later and don't remember being here at all, like they've been .. started over or some shit?

Someone just showed up who was here before. Someone I .. was married to. We have a kid. But he won't know her, and everytime he shows up and doesn't know who we are, it seriously fucks her up and gets her upset. It's not his fault of course, it just sucks.

Yeah, I know all about that kind of disappearing.

Sort of feeling like I've been set back to start over right now. They're people familiar with computers and stuff that would be calling it a reboot, I guess. I don't know.

Either way it's weird. Can't imagine how much worse it's gotta feel for you and a little one, miss. I can't do much but apologize and wonder if you should hold off on telling her for a while. Maybe? Kind of hard though because some kids are real bright.
