Jacinda:Your daughter is magnificent. Protective, beautiful just like her mother, intelligent. And quite the little firecracker. I assume they both are, but I'm speaking of the unmarried one in particular.

I just have to brag for a moment. I grew a human ear and crafted it from scaffolding and cells of cartilage, then implanted it under the skin on the back of a mouse. Once it matured, I removed it surgically, with no damage to the mouse, and attached it to a man who'd lost an ear in a freak accident several years ago.

I am amazing. Simply, utterly, incredibly amazing.

That's quite impressive, Mark. You should be proud of yourself, though I think you have that concept covered on your own.

[Mark] What did she do now?

Thank you, gorgeous. It's nice to see someone appreciates my talents. You know, the medical ones. Not the...other ones.

[Jacinda]
She's quite protective of her mother, and I would be too. You're really something, Jacinda Jesbar.

Are you sure you even like me? I don't seem like your type.

You're welcome.

[Mark]
Tell me what she did, Mark. Compliments aren't going to distract me from finding out.

What makes you ask that? And what do you think your type is?

She simply made it very clear that if I hurt you, while she'd bound by Jedi ethics, her married counterpart is not.

I made it clear to her that I care deeply for you and would never do anything to hurt you.

...I'm very, very sorry she bothered you, Mark. I told them to leave you alone. I'm so sorry. They have no right to threaten or intimidate you.

You said that?

And to answer your question, yes, I'm sure I like you. But I could say the same thing you did -- I don't seem like your type.

It's no bother. Your kids are fine.

I did. You're glorious, Jacinda. I'm lucky you took a chance on me.

Well thank God for going against types then, huh? I asked because I don't see how you can stand me. No other woman could for longer than a few months at a time, and I never had as much fun out of bed with anyone as I do with you.

They don't seem to have bothered you. Have they? Mia's always been a handful but two of her is as good as 50 handfuls.

I just wanted to get to know you better and see if there was anything under that facade you put on. Still do.

You're charming, you're generous with compliments, you're skilled at a very difficult job, and you're very handsome. Those are just for starters. Why don't you think people can stand you?
