Ugh, Dad, did you change the locks again without telling us? Seriously. Last thing we need is to be locked out of the house.

Where are you, anyway? We go over to spend the night at a friend's house and suddenly you're gone.

Seeing as you got to go to some sort of doctor for that shit, I'm willing to believe I won't be able to be as drunk or stoned as I was when I got it done to get it off. Anyway, why not a tattoo? You don't take after your father, then? You don't like the pain?

Well, I don't know. Tattoos are just a permanent thing and my sense of style changes too often to get one anywhere visible.

Maybe one day I'll get one on my hip or something. Though I bet my dad wouldn't let me even if I wanted to. My oldest sister tried to get one? My dad freaked, especially when he saw the henna one on her and thought she'd gone and gotten a real one.

Man it was like, scary.

Oh yeah? Stabler's got an anger thing going, does he? I suppose I can understand, if he told her not to get one and all, but I figure if I ever had kids, they could do whatever they wanted to their bodies as long as it didn't hurt them permenantly. Your choice, after all.

Dad has always had a bit of a temper. He's a good guy, though, really and I know he loves us and just wants the best for us. But yeah, it kinda sucks. I mean, I'm not even allowed to date yet and I'm 16!

Dickie isn't supposed to either but he does and it's so not fair. Dad always acts like every boy I end up liking is going to rape me or something.

Well, when you work with that kinda shit, I bet it presses in on your every day life. You know, stresses you out, puts spins on things that aren't there.

I know, seriously. But c'mon, it's not like I plan to go with guys on dates in dark alleys. I just want to be able to go to the movies or to a carnival without my dad putting stupid protective detail on me something! Drives me crazy.

Yeah, I guess. But still it is so not cool! He won't even let me go to the school dances unless Dickie goes with me and then Dickie doesn't let me do anything! Not even dance. I just have to stand around with his stupid geek friends and it sucks.

I don't know how to get him to relax. He spends soooo much time working and dealing with weirdos and stuff he comes home tired out and stressed.

I have, it doesn't work. Even got Mom to talk to him and he still wouldn't let up. He's stubborn.
