So, for those of you who don't know, McGee's Miscellany is under new management again.

Mum got vanished, left the place to me. Going to be having a grand re-reopening this weekend, starting about midday tomorrow [London address] Come on by and find all the things you never knew you needed.

Hi! We've not met yet, I'm Stoney, Stonewall Murderface. I'm the new guy taking up space at Mini-Mordhaus. I'll drop by and poke around a bit, maybe I can find some things to make the place a bit more homey.

Oh, you're that guy, bubbly. We've got all kinds of decor, I'd even go so far as to say we've got decor out the wazoo.

The real question is if any of it is something anyone marginally sane would use. Because ... well, because most people don't consider framed yarn-and-button-and-chewed-gum art to be ... art.

Bubbly? Dare I ask?

Art is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe you have something in macaroni? After all when you add it up, I'm not sure there's any sanity in my margins.

Oh, right, bubbly is future-slang, it's like... awesome? Only not. I mean, like, it means the same thing when I'm from that awesome means now.

And we've totally got macaroni arts, macaroni and colored hot glue.

OK. That works for me.

There is something special about food art. Art that's made from macaroni and candy and glitter. I didn't even know there was such a thing as colored hot glue.

So where (when?) are you from? Do you play an instrument?

I know, right? And I'm not sure if it's actually colored glue or if someone melted crayons in the glue gun as well.

I'm from 20 to 25 years from now, relative timeline, and I dabble with instruments. I've got the synesthesia, sound-to-sight, and that makes music a little tricky.

The whole time shifting thing is messing with my head more than dimension hopping tornadoes. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I guess it is what it is. Have you been here long?

I Googled synesthesia. It does sound like it would make music tricky. But you say you dabble anyway? So I guess it doesn't hurt when you listen or play. I honestly can't imagine any Wartooth who could stay away from some sort of creative endeavor for long. I confess an ulterior motive, to paraphrase Elwood Blues "We're putting a band together".

Pfft, I coulda just told you: "Duder, I see sounds." But I sometimes forget that people don't know what it is. I can sort of ... turn it off for a while? Long story, but it doesn't last very long, and I was doing this littlest-metal-star thing for a while last summer, sort of counter-culture to all the cookie-cutter popstars. It was fun.

Which is to say, uh... stuff, I don't even know where I was going with this right now. I'm really not much for playing, but if you're in need of a tiny blonde who can dethgrowl with the best of them, look no further!

Well I don't have final say, that's up to Teja, but I think it would be very metal.

We either need another Skwigelf caliber guitarist or a drummer. Do you know anyone?

I'll let him know I'm at least interested in backing vocals when I see him later.

And I've got nothin'. Don't know any musicians who weren't vortexed back to where they were before, not besides Tej, and I don't know if he counts or not. And besides that, I don't think there are any Skwigelf-caliber guitarists that aren't y'know, skwigelves.

Ohh... I don't know about that. See in my world Mr Skwisgaar stepped down to the world's fastest guitarist: Toki Wartooth.

It's worth a try. I figure a lot of people come through your store. We really don't want to hire a drum machine if we can help it.

... Weirdling.

Not as many as you'd think, since it's more or less an enchanted junk shop. But a few, we've got our regulars.

Oh! Dude! Get Tej to call Henry, I know he can play string instruments, and I know he's still around because he was just in the shop yesterday.
