I figured I would say hello to everyone; I am sorry I've not been much for chatting or talking, but having two little ones dancing around and kicking my bladder with irritating regularity doesn't make me social. I've a month or so to go, and I love my girls (and my husband, goes without saying), but having twins is bloody awful. If you've never done it, well, don't.

I saw your fiancee's note; is this the same lady you were worried about impressing the one time you asked for advice on what to wear? She's quite lovely.

That is the same woman, yes. Thankfully, this time I have a good idea on what to wear.

Congratulations in advance on your twins. Are you having to be on bed rest?

I daresay I'll need to be on bed rest for the last month; I do not fish for reassurance or compliments when I say I am bloody enormous.

I'm very pleased to see you've found someone. I presume your little boy is happy with this turn of events?

I have no doubt. My first wife, Haley, had to be on bed rest for her last month with Jack, and he was by himself. Is there anything I can help with? I presume your husband has it well in hand, but I thought I would offer.

Both the young version of my son and the older are thrilled.

I appreciate it, but I'm sure it will be all right. I'll remember the offer if my husband ever looks as though he's about to drop.

Older - oh, dear, you've got two as well? It was a bit of a panic when Danielle and Annorah showed up, but I've rather got used to have them around.

Even men experience a bit of exhaustion toward the end of a pregnancy.

I've got a seven year old and a fifteen year old, yes. The older Jack recalls Isabela as his mother. It's ... heartwarming. I agree with you, it's awkward at first, but somehow comforting.

That's quite true; you'd think my husband was carrying the girls. Heh.

Your elder son knows your fiancee as his mum ... that is rather heartwarming, if, I imagine, bittersweet. I'm just very pleased things are seeming to work out for you. One does see so many people broken up by coming here or leaving.

He is, in a sense; he helps you carry them.

I hope that doesn't happen to us, but I refuse to live in fear of it.

That's quite true, but he acts like he has the physical burden. I love him, but he can be a baby.

Dean and I have been together for nearly five years here. Take comfort in it, if possible?

I do hope the man is waiting on you hand and foot. It only seems fair.

Oh, certainly. Dean's a wonderful husband. He's been a saint entirely. Well. Not entirely.

Well, none of them can be entirely saintly, can they? Mostly is good.
