Huh, far out. That's not what I expected to happen at all.

Just over a thousand grid-cycles would make this...what, 2010, 2011?

Not going to happen. The math's wrong, for one thing.

Yes and no. I used to live here, but it was a long time ago. Kevin Flynn.

Oh, come on. Ancient Mayans who ran out of room on a stone clearly knew that something major would happen on a precise date that a calender they never encountered.

Of course they did, man. The answers are all on another rock that we just never happened to find.

Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Stark. What do you do here? You're another one of us displaced types, I take it?

Likely wouldn't do the math right either if they did, like you said.

Robotics and engineering. Used to be munitions, but partially out of that game. Been here for a few months maybe? Time flies when you're having fun.

Anyone who thinks they can predict the end of the world with mathematics is misunderstanding the nature of both mathematics and the world.

Robotics and engineering, huh? I'd like to see what you're working on sometime. I was a programmer and software designer, long ago. It's been a while.
