Yes, because making me miserable will make Father happy. Did you know - he asked me if it was "all right" for him to speak with you, if it would make me uncomfortable. I said I didn't want to get in the way of your friendship, that it was more important.

I don't see how that's being spoiled. You're simply upset because your actions have hurt someone you actually care about, and now you have to live with it.

I have not hurt him, he is worried that Lakshmi will leave him for me, and I've made it so that it will not happen.

Stay. Out of it. If he wants to speak to me personally, he can, but I suggest HE gets the balls to talk to HER first. I don't want to play he-said-she-said between you and him, I'm too fucking old for middle-school games such as this.
