What are your thoughts on the texture and feel of bananas?

Unless there is another Sebastian here, I presume you mean me. My name is Sebastian Vael, but I have no idea who you are or why you would ask me such a nonsensical question. I've no idea what a 'banana' is.

It is only nonsensical to someone who has no idea of the inclinations of a banana in eternity's means! How have you not ran across a banana? A glorious fruit of the tropics, I shall have a batch sent to you immediately.

Ah! Yes, look at my poor manners. I am Prince Vlad Dracula, the last of the noble family of the Order of the Dracul who reigned Transylvania and Romania throughout hundreds of years of war. A friend of Penelope's. Most people are quite pleased to call me by Vlad.

I am not from this world, sir, and from what I understand, I do not live in a place where bananas grow.

I know your name. I confess the reputation that goes with it is a dubious one nowadays, unless I've perhaps been misinformed.

One of the most important aspects of any culture is its food. A new world, I cannot imagine! Where are you residing?

It depends on your source of information, good sir.

I live in Monaco.

My source ... sir, let's not beat around the bush. I know what you are, and frankly, while I will not tell her who to be friends with, your proclivities worry me.

Ah, French, such a beautiful language.

You do, do you? And what proclivities am I supposed to have?

You're a vampire. I have experience with demons.

There is no devil who was ever as great as Attila, whose blood flows within these veins. I assure you that there is simply nothing alike amongst myself and those creatures.

I've no idea who Attila might be, but I know very well who Penelope Garcia is - a woman I care very deeply for. If one hair of her head is ever harmed through her association with you, I can promise you will regret it.

If you have no intentions of that kind, then of course you have my apologies. A man is cautious about those things and people precious to him.

It is understandable, though to believe the legend and lore of myself is quite presumptuous, even for an archer.

Presumptuous? Have I been misinformed or no?

I do not know what you think of the vampire, but to associate them with a demon shows some misinformation. I do not know what you think you know, but there is, in fact, very little to know.

Though the idea that vampires are cannibals has proven for some great amusement to myself.

Cannibal is, perhaps, a wrong word, but do vampires not feed upon people? Or is your world's variety completely different to mine?

Cannibal is, in fact, the wrong word. I require the blood of lambs to sustain my life, but it is not something I require on a weekly basis.

I have never heard of such a thing, but I am not insinuating that you lie.

Sir, I will trust you with a truth, which I hope you will understand in the light of our esteem for the same woman. My family was wiped out by a supernatural being - a demon, if you will. Vampires are not natural, in the sense of humanity, and the idea of such a threat being present around the woman I love is frightening. I will not allow anything to happen to her as I allowed it to happen to my parents and brother.

Sir, I am thankful for your trust with your truth, and convey sorrow for your loss. Rest assure, however, that I am fully aware that what I have become and been in all regards is not natural. There are many things that are also not natural, however, and that is something that I feel ought not be gone into until a later date, for many of them are seen as societal norms that I have watched rise, fall, and end up in wars, famine, plague, and death. Our worlds may be different in that regard, but religion and politics cannot go long without being in any world, I would garner to assume.

I am not threat, Mister Vael, and I am not one to lie about much of anything, sir.

That I will believe. I don't wish to be rude, but I wish to protect my own. I also have been known to be a religious man, but the religion here is not my own. Still, it affects my perceptions.

I appreciate your understanding.

Religion in this world is complex and omnipresent, be it that of the Hebrews, that of the Catholics, that of Muslims and the rest, it is all throughout this world.

It is of no problem.

None of it is mine. I believe in Andraste, Bride of the Maker, he who created us all, but I merely bring it up to illustrate that religious men are hypersensitive to the anti-divine.

Buddug, a queen, her name in Welsh, called upon her, Andraste, an Icenic goddess to help the Britons fight off the Romans trying to overtake them. Odd, that she is the Bride in the world you come from, and yet the goddess to aid in battle in this.

Though, the nomenclature of Maker, He, Creator, the All-Powerful or what have you, seems to go throughout all of the earth. (Save in those cases where the Creator is a female, such as to many parts of Asia and Africa.)

I am quite tickled pink at being called "the anti-divine," I must inform you.
