No. I'm trying to point out to you how ridiculous you sound. 'Why don't you just stop drinking?' Because oh yes, I hadn't already tried and failed at that. Why didn't I think of that? It's so OBVIOUS! And why don't you just stop loving someone? It should be as easy as giving up drinking, right?

Maybe you should, if this is how you react when things get difficult.
