Anybody out there need a spare kid? I've got eight. Well, technically only the two and a half, but the big ones aren't adoptable and I can't give away the Skwigelfs.

Relatedly, who here knows a good place for an alky Californian to go and mingle without the presence of booze?

you joke about giving away your children?

I joke about everything. It keeps me from strangling my brothers, because obviously, it's got to be one of their faults at any given time.

How are things on the deitical front? Peachy, I hope!

...I can understand that. Hermes is my brother and he insists on sleeping with my woman. I would strangle him if I could catch him it wouldn't make her unhappy.

Eh. There are too many women in my family with unguarded tongues. They will be the death of me.

As the little brother of five sisters, I get you there. Then again, yours have powers, mine just have rolling pins. Lucky for me, mine are back in the other reality.

Anyway, you already have one of my kids under your protection, I think. He said so, at least.

They insist on having things like opinions. It's annoying.

Yes, I do. Bunny is a good son.

Women do that, you know.

I meant Cassidy, but Bunny as well. I just didn't have the room for the poor little guy. He was a good kid to have around, when we had him. How's that working out, by the way?

Only the ones that don't know their place.

Ah, yes. Cassidy. He is a good warrior with an excellent mind. You raised him well.

It is working out quite well. He is an excellent young man.

I take it you weren't the biggest fan of Women's Lib.

Thanks. I guess I tried? I didn't raise him, but he was raised by me, if that makes any sense at all.

Stellar. I'm glad to hear Bunny is doing well with you. I really hoped he'd mesh well in your home. It was just the absolutely wrong time to be bringing a kid into an already crowded house, you know? And my little Cassie, he just has such issues with shyness and he couldn't for the life of him bring himself to talk to Bunny. It's that he stutters, you know?

Still, I'm really glad Bunny gets along well over there.

I like my women without flannel and mullets.

It does. This world is strange in it's function.

Ah. Bunny mentioned they did not get along. Perhaps that is why.

Yes, he and my other children get along quite well. He is an excellent big brother to Adriel.

See? That's good news all around. I'm sorry Bunny and Cassie didn't get along. It wasn't that they fought, it's that Cassie didn't even know where to begin to talk with him. He's so shy around new people... Breaks my heart. Obviously, though, he got out of that phase eventually. Making friends with gods and goddesses, of all things.

So I was wondering, would you like to come to dinner tonight? Bring your family along. I might not make food fit for a god, but I hear it's decent. Hell, it's half the reason my house is full all the time.

They will work it out. Young boys always do.

Yes, we will come. It would be a pleasure. Thank you for the invitation. You will have to come over as well. Aunt Hestia is an excellent cook. You would enjoy it.

We'd love to come by, as well. We're having a big dinner night next Friday, so if you want to show up around 6pm London time, you'll be just in time.
