Cinco De Mayo.
Does anybody even remember the historical significance of this holiday? Am I the only one? Surely, I can't be. You know, it's a common misconception that Cinco De Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day. That's actually September 16th. Cinco De Mayo, which means fifth of May in Spanish in case you were interested, was actually the day that the Mexican army the French army in the Battle of Puebla. They were outnumbered by at least 2000 men but under the commanding leadership of the Mexican general Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín, they were able to defeat the French forces and drive the bastards out.
There's a history lesson for you. Not that most of you will care.
