Who is this madman, Apocalypse, who seems to be causing all the trouble?

I have been racing around, putting out fires and saving people, and finding all too many dead for my liking, since he arrived.

It's an incredibly long story that would bite into the racing around, putting out fires and saving people.

Ah... of course. Sounds like my old world.

Do you ... wait... sound bites.

What is his weakness, is he alive, and how much damage can he take?

None, he is immortal, he can take whatever we throw at him.

Which puts us in a pickle, although we've seen this particular pickle before.

Ah.

Well, then, I guess I will have to try my hand if I see him.

I'm not exactly like most kids on the block, ma'am.

Neither am I, kid. And I'm telling you we need a plan to get rid of him. He's not killable, period.

No offense was intended, Ma'am.

If you can't stop him, what about removing him?

That's usually the plan. I didn't mean to sound short, but no sleep and a cranky cosmic entity pounding in my skull for more power really is all someone can manage.

We'll help however we can.

No worries, Ma'am. I think we can all do with some rest when we can get it. Can't help anyone if we don't right?

I can build something that could displace him... as long as I can find him.

God, stop calling me Ma'am. Please. Makes me feel old.

But a rest schedule might be needed. Until we can find a way to make him be elsewhere, we need to keep him contained as possible.

I'm sorry. I was raised that way.

Do you know how many can be mustered against him?

... please forgive me for rudeness right now.

We have a lot of people from various places right now who could certainly fight against him. I just want to minimize the loss of life until we can get rid of him.

You are not being rude. Everyone should have their preferences respected. I was raised sort of old fashioned and it's all right if that is not your speed.

Of course. Does he tend to strike to kill, or is it incidental? A lot of the lives lost I have seen have been from accidental death.

Doesn't mean I should be snapping at you.

If he wants you dead, you will be. But his goal doesn't seem to be destruction just yet. Likely he's without a plan just now, and is trying to find if any of his allies are around. We're lucky the other Horsemen or Harbringers aren't here.

Hm.

Any way of predicting his moves?

Not until he falls into a pattern. We should watch for him trying to gather people to him as Horsemen again, but he rarely plays the hand identically.

Likely once he realizes what's actually going on, he'll simply move to wipe out everything he possibly can.

Well, then, we had best move faster.

Anywhere I can check in with you, when I have a device to remove him built?

My shop's destroyed, but I'm fine. He left New Jersey as soon as he could, go figure.

It seems like this happens a lot, though. Not this exactly, I mean, but stuff like this.

Hopefully insurance and the government will help with that.

Really? Well, maybe we can get a better handle on it. I will look into it.

With great power comes great responsibility.

At least my stock went to help people out. Or what was left after the shop crashed.

There were a few injured, but I don't have any kind of expertise. But I do know that bottled water and rags of any kind are usually helpful during these kinds of things.
