I sold one of my sculptures.

I sold one of my sculptures for a lot of money.

I got a commission to do more sculptures, and the promise of even more money.

This is the most awesome thing ever.

That's very good news. I think that getting paid for one's talent is a most rewarding experience. But just out of curiosity, what type of scuptures do you usually make?

Mostly abstract stuff. I use scrap metal as my medium. The one the guy bought was sort of shaped like a fish. So I called it 'mermaid divine' or something similar. He's putting them around his personal lake, apparently.

Abstract.. with metal. That is very impressive. A museum would probably pay a hefty sum for that type of artwork.

I didn't think of that. The art thing was kind of just a side effect, honestly. Something to have fun with.

I'm proud of you, Lorne. We can probabl;y pick out the metals you need from the local dump if you want to take a trip out there with the truck?

Rooting through scrap metal with the hottest girl in L.A.? Sounds like a date. Thank God we're both up on our shots.

Heh. Between our talents, I am sure we can avoid undue issues. See you later, hot stuff.
