I still can't quite adjust to life without Steed. I never thought I'd miss the call of "Mrs Peel, we're needed!"...

I suppose that once you've been exposed to such danger, such adventure, you never really settle back down properly.

You know, you could always seek out that kind of life here.

What were you, some kind of superhero? We always need those here. And there are tons of super powered people here.

I suppose I could. Although, I'm not quite sure where I'd start...

I was a secret agent of sorts, one of a pair - they called us the Avengers. Not super-powered, just rather talented.

Really, it's easy. Just advertise your available services on these boards.

Or start your own detective agency? I work at one, and we're always slammed. But I'd avoid starting one in New York if I were you. The owner of mine might be pissed off at me for suggesting this to you if you did.

These boards might quickly become a lifesaver.

That's quite the tempting idea. I'm wondering if London needs another detective agency, though.

Well then, you could stick to the advertising here route. I'll recommend you to anyone that might need your services.

I'm Raven, by the way. Raven Darkholme.

Thanks.

I'm Emma Peel. A pleasure to meet you.

It's nice to meet you too, Emma.

It's odd hearing that it's a pleasure to meet my from an Emma. The other Emma I know is notoriously undecided on her opinion of me.

Well, we Emmas aren't all the same. Thankfully.

It's just refreshing for someone to be pleased to meet me.

Let's just say that I haven't always lived a good, clean, legal life. That's changed in the last three years, but some people tend not to believe it.

In my line of work, I'm always pleased to meet someone who won't throw a knife at my head within a moment's notice.

I doubt any of us have lived completely legal lives. We've all got our little secrets, or... at least that's my experience.

No, I stopped doing that years ago.

No doubt you're right. It's nice to see someone admitting that.

Thank God. The last time was a bit close for comfort.

It's better to be honest. Lies and concealments have a nasty habit of tripping you up, after all.

Oh believe me, I learned that a long time ago. Lying used to come naturally to me, but somehow it always bit me in the ass in the end.

If you've ever the time or inclination, would you like to have tea with me? I don't have a lot of women friends, and you have been lovely.

As have you, Mrs. Peel.

How does this Thursday around 4 sound?

Great, I'll meet you at Savoy in London if it's convenient for you?

It's convenient enough, thanks to those 'portkey' things.

I'll see you Thursday at the Savoy at 4 then!
