Some delightful criminal decided to knock me out a few nights ago. With the handle of my own gun, no less. Such a charmer.
If this happens again, I'll be seeking out a less painful job. One can only take so many blows to the head, after all. |

The criminals just keep getting stupider, and I just keep running out of champagne.
Oh, for my old life, and my Elan. I do miss that car. |

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually miss Steed. He had his uses, after all, and he was always ready with a bottle of champagne after a mission...
...Clearly, working for the government is a lot less glamorous now than it was in the sixties. |

I seem to be slowing down. Thank God.
I can still pick bullets out of mid-air, though. I'd rather like to keep that ability. |

...I was chasing after an armed man, and he shot at me. I picked the bullet out of the air.
Whilst I'm not complaining, I then proceeded to capture the man in five seconds flat. I seem to be moving far too fast to be normal. |

That was... uncomfortable.
If the universe pulls another trick like that, I'd rather like to not end up pining for Steed. Even if I am a widow, that's just not the done thing. |

Oh, of all the inappropriate times!
Can't the universe let me have one chance with Steed? Is it just that set on keeping us apart? |

This is definietly interesting... |

Well, this is certianly interesting. To think I have seen more than anyone would in their liftime. But this definietly takes the cake. Being brought here by a torando is something I would have expected from a story book, but not in real life. This will take time getting used to, but I do think I'll be alright. Part of me wonders if I will see anyone I know, but I think I will end up running into family at some point. All I can say is that this is going to be one interesting experience.

It was recommended that I advertise my services on these boards, especially since my current occupation is rather failing to keep me amused.
I am Mrs Emma Peel, one half of the elite Ministry task-force known as the Avengers. I'm trained in almost every conceivable martial art, am an excellent fencer, as well as a superb marksman, and I can speak numerous languages to some competent degree of fluency. I also look damned good in a leather catsuit, and can break someone's legs from twenty feet away whilst whistling innocently.
Any takers? |

I still can't quite adjust to life without Steed. I never thought I'd miss the call of "Mrs Peel, we're needed!"...
I suppose that once you've been exposed to such danger, such adventure, you never really settle back down properly. |

Steed, you always pick the worst times.
...Wait a moment. This isn't... Steed?
I get the distinct feeling that it's going to be difficult for the Avengers to be getting to work. |
