I have been sitting and thinking and I am no longer afraid of school. Things will happen or they will not, and I will know things or I may not, and there is nothing I can do about that, with only just under a week until school starts.

It is funny how deciding something like that can make one feel better.

Mother is home now, and in bed. I do not think I have ever known her to sleep. She must be very tired indeed. And thus, it is quiet, and I am not worried at all.
