Lavender had spent the better part of the last week shut up in her room. Inspiration struck at the most inopportune times, it seemed. And in the process, Lavender had gone through enough sketchbooks to fill her floor with crumpled sheets. All of which contained the rough sketch of this dress or that. Few people seemed interested in her work, and while she couldn't blame them for not wanting a completely unheard of designer to do what she did best, Lavender was going to do her best to prove them wrong. After spotting Susan in the halls, Lavender had found her inspiration and had raced upstairs to start a gown for her. And with each new line across the parchment, Lavender found herself rushing off to sketch up something else, and another, and another. Until, eventually, she'd lost sight of the original drawing among the mess.
While all of this was going on, Lavender had her own gown to create, her own wedding to plan, and while to some she appeared to be avoiding Seamus - well that was the furthest thing from the truth. She'd just been busy, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Not to mention, as the full moon creeped up on her, Lavender found her emotions in turmoil. It happened at every full moon without full. The day after, usually found her as an emotional wreck. And perhaps by then, she was aboiding Seamus. How could she expect him to want to marry her, when she could very well end up hurting him during the full?
The knock on her door had caused her to jump. Calling over her shoulder, for whoever it was to come in, Lavender did her best to tidy up the room. Turning, she was shocked to see Seamus in her doorway, and paused looking like the proverbial deer-in-headlights before she straightened her clothes and ran a hand through her hair. "H-hello Seamus!"
