Gwendolyn loved shopping. There was really nothing better than spending hours on a hot summer's day - because this past week had been unusually warm for Britain - looking at clothing and trying on different items. As it was, she'd already been at the activity for a good two hours and she was enjoying every minute of it. She hadn't actually bought all that much, she could hardly afford it, but she had enjoyed looking at herself in the mirror and pretending she could afford it all. Shopping, even if it was mostly trying things on and putting them back, always had managed to have a therapeutic sort of effect on Gwen.
Having just handed over a couple of sickles for the necklace, Gwen tucked that bag into a much larger one and thanked the lady behind the counter. As she did so, Gwen slid her sunglasses back over her eyes and flipped her long blonde hair over her shoulders as she back outside. The walk to the next shop was really rather short, but Gwen was already looking forward to being indoors again. Then Gwen stopped abruptly as she felt herself smack straight into someone. "Oi! Watch it!"
