Her name, that voice - she couldn't help but turn toward him slightly. A few snarky responses flashed through her mind, but her throat itched enough that she kept them to herself and settled instead on lifting the hand not cupping her mouth in an almost wave. In a way it was a relief to know he'd be the guy at her back, she just had to ignore the way that it re-sparked that almost nervousness from before.
There wasn't time for that, especially not when of the two of them he knew how to handle himself better in this situation. It was surprisingly easy to trust he had it under control, to just trust him in general (but then that was a completely different can of worms she didn't want to explore).
Logan did pause in her effort to get closer, giving him time to catch up to where she was. It just made sense, plus it'd be easier to communicate back and forth that way. Staying still long didn't seem good though, so when he'd caught up she started forward again.
"Can't be positive. It could have been someone, could have just been the building groaning again." Even without seeing half her face her annoyance with the uncertainty was probably obvious anyway. "Figured if it was someone they'd call out again or respond." Which explained the getting closer, even though it was even warmer at this end of the hall.
