His tone and posture shift were enough, but the statement too made her laugh. "Oh, I already knew that! I grew up with her. You do not want to see what happens when you piss her and my twin off, they're terrifying together." Which was the truth, even if she was amused. "Probably a good plan." Feet up next to her didn't bother her, she didn't pay his new position much attention. "You look crafty, I bet you could've found a real cowboy to lift them from." Resting her elbows on her knees. "Hmmm, I suppose I'll trust you for now."
"No, I've got logic and a sunny outlook on my side. It just doesn't make sense to think you're all doomed. Especially when most of you aren't even showing any signs yet."
It was always fascinating to hear people talk about their passions, Cassidy found herself leaning forward to listen with rapt attention. "No broken bones, but I can relate to the rest." Her only experience with rodeos was what had popped up in random movies or television. "As a medical professional, I'm going to say I support the sound of these helmets." Since they were propped up next to her, Cassidy gave his feet a slight shove though her grin never dropped. "Then I guess it's good I've got one now, isn't it?" Because clearly they were going to be friends now, it just made sense. "Oh, well I'd hate to be the one to bust up your reputation, my lips are sealed." As she spoke, she mimed zipped her lips. "Don't know that anyone would believe me even if I tried to spread it around though."
