“Oh yeah, a regular prince, really.” The man definitely wouldn’t be winning any awards in the charming department. Although in all fairness Abram supposed when facing down death, not everyone wanted an upbeat person around. Still, a death threat seemed a little uncalled for. “Pretty sure that man isn’t working on a logic,” he remarked with a laugh. “And maybe he figures we’re all already dead anyway, might as well speed things along for some people.” He really didn’t think they were all dead. But from the way that man was acting, he had a feeling that guy definitely felt that way.
Her laughter didn’t even bother him. Wouldn’t be the first time a woman had laughed in his face, probably wouldn’t be the last time either. “Would you believe me if I told you I was hiding a feminine figure under here?” Abram asked while motioning towards his torso. “All this, it’s really just the clothes.” He really wasn’t bothered by the admission that his current companion preferred the company of the fairer sex, people could love whoever they wanted to love in his opinion. “I have to admit you’ve got good taste though, the fairer sex really is the far more attractive one.” This was his way of letting her know she didn’t have to worry about him clouding up and raining all over her about her life choices. So far of what little interaction he had had with the blonde medic, she seemed like good company - and right now that’s all Abram was really looking for.
“You are clearly a saint,” He answered with a laugh. “And I’m hoping that man is the only person around this place that can’t take a sunny attitude.” Abram had gotten a few other dirty looks from people, but nothing quite to the level of the death threat. “That transparent, huh?” He asked with a toothy grin. “Can’t help it though, when I look like this the girls just come calling. Ain’t my fault I’m better looking than their guys.” His flirting was all in good fun most of the time, but some guys definitely didn’t like their girlfriends flirting with the handsome cowboy. He was of the opinion though that if you didn’t want that to happen, you shouldn’t bring your girl to the rodeo. “So, this the first time you’ve saved someone from death threats?”
