The guy's tone and attitude didn't take Ezra be surprise. If he were in the man's situation he couldn't claim that he would be any friendlier. Car problems sucked, plain and simple. "Clearly," he answered simply while continuing to approach the man and his jeep.
"Could be," Ezra agreed. "Or it could be as simple as bad spark plugs." At least that's where he started when a person was having engine troubles. "Or could be that." Though really it was a simple matter of trial and error until the problem could be located.
By this point Ezra had reached the man and his Jeep. "M'not an expert, but I know the basics." Motorcycles were more his style, but he had tinkered with cars from time to time. "If I can fix this you've got a deal." A ride back to the resort would be nice, not necessarily needed - but nice.
He gave a quick command to Nori to sit before turning his attention back towards the Aussie. "So what have you tried so far?" Might as well find out where the baseline was before diving in. "I don't want to waste my fucking time repeating whatever you've already tried." Ezra added as he peered down at the engine.
